CDS Alumni Among Our Finest Ambassadors

Our Alumni (at last count 1300 and growing) represent some of the finest examples of The Country Day School’s mission and what our teachers do best – support, know and inspire our students. Alumni are among our best ambassadors and continue to set the bar for our students to dream and aspire.
Since The Link magazine was redesigned in fall 2013, we have interviewed quite a few of our Alumni for the Alumni Profile section, and there is no shortage of interesting stories to tell. Each one is making a mark for themselves, hopefully pursuing their passion and finding fulfillment in doing so.

Please take a moment to Meet Our Alumni and peruse what they are doing with their lives on our new webpage!

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
