For a school to foster excellence, it should embody many qualities. It should have a faculty and staff dedicated to bringing out the best in students. It should be small enough to provide the caring atmosphere of an extended family. At the same time, it should be large enough that students experience stimulating interaction with others of varying backgrounds and interests.

The Country Day School embodies these qualities. At CDS, we challenge students to achieve their full intellectual potential. We ask them to take responsibility for themselves and to become independent thinkers. We believe our graduates will become caring and responsible people who will lead full and productive lives.

Words on a page can only begin to tell the story. What it cannot provide is the feel of the School. It is my hope that that you will come and visit us and experience The Country Day School for yourself.
