Parent Association Speaker Series presents: Paul Davis - 'Empowering Parents in the Digital Age'

    Duckett theatre
As parents, we know how critical it is that we remain informed of what our children are doing, who they are doing it with, and where they are spending their time on social media. In our rapidly changing world, this task of attempting to stay ahead of the curve often feels overwhelming.

Join us on Wednesday, November 23rd for an informative talk on Empowering Parents in the Digital Age with digital safety speaker, Paul Davis. Frequently featured on CTV News, CBC and Global TV, Paul will cover technologies and trends, digital trails and online privacy and security when it comes to our kids' presence on social media.

Paul Davis brings more than 30 years of IT knowledge and expertise on digital citizenship and online safety to his speaking engagements. He has presented North American wide to both parents and students and is able to relate to this topic as a father and as a “techie”.

Join us on Wednesday, November 23rd from 9-10 AM in the Paul C. Duckett Theatre of the Performing Arts Centre for this free event sponsored by the CDS Parent Association. Please help us spread the word as all are welcome!

Land Acknowledgment

CDS wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. For thousands of years, these have been the traditional lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. We also recognize the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and the Haudenosaunee peoples who also shared this land.  CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for these lands and waters for future generations.
