The Country Day School teachers are a carefully selected group of people who are dedicated to igniting a passion for learning in their students. Extremely talented, hard-working and committed, our team meets the highest standards of their profession. We provide them with the best resources, facilities and opportunities to meet these standards. By fostering excellence in teaching, we are able to offer our students remarkable opportunities to be all they can be.

The pride of The Country Day School is its closely-knit community which comprises students, parents, past-parents, alumni, faculty, staff and friends. Staff are the backbone of our community. This team is highly committed and works extremely hard, both on the front lines and behind the scenes, ensuring that we have a beautiful campus, immaculate buildings, efficient administrative systems and a friendly voice answering the telephone.

Thank You

One of the joys of being a part of The Country Day School community is witnessing the many special moments that our students experience.

We would like to acknowledge our talented photographers for capturing these moments so beautifully on the CDS website and throughout our School publications. We thank our principal photographers, including professional photographers Mr. Stan Behal and Mr. Nick Iwanyshyn and CDS faculty and staff members, Mr. Zach Lawton (Digital Media Specialist), Mr. Steve McCutcheon (Senior School Science) and Ms. Jennifer Weening (Technology Education Specialist).

We invite you to review biographies for our faculty in the directory below

Land Acknowledgment

CDS wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. For thousands of years, these have been the traditional lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. We also recognize the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and the Haudenosaunee peoples who also shared this land.  CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for these lands and waters for future generations.
