Dinner & Auction 2024

After a smashing return to campus last year we are excited to announce that The Country Day School’s Annual Dinner & Auction party will return on Friday, May 31, 2024! This is an evening you won’t want to miss as we come together as a community in our Cyclone Dome here on campus.

Last year, the event was SOLD OUT in 2 days, and we anticipate the demand for tickets to be very high again this year.

To guarantee your tickets we encourage you to consider becoming a sponsor for this fabulous evening. The benefits of sponsorship are numerous and vary depending on your level of commitment. And, a portion of all sponsorship opportunities will receive a tax receipt, according to Revenue Canada Guidelines.

Upcoming Events

The Country Day School's Office of Community Relations is responsible for managing the majority of the annual school events. These events usually involve the whole CDS community, including our current parents, past parents and alumni.

While the events are managed through our office, their success is due to the overwhelming support of our parent volunteers. Whether you are able to give a few hours or make a larger commitment, all volunteers are highly valued and greatly appreciated.

For more information about our annual events or to volunteer, please contact us via email at events@cds.on.ca or at 905-833-3640.

We look forward to hearing from you!

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
