    Orientation Day: All NEW JK-12 and ALL Gr. 7 and Gr. 9 Students

    Orientation Day is designed to give students who are new to CDS an opportunity to meet their teachers and become familiar with their surroundings.

    All NEW students and ALL Grade 7 and Grade 9 students are expected to attend.

    Orientation Day Music Session for NEW Students

    There will be a special music session from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm on Orientation Day for all new CDS music students from Grades 5-8 who have NO PREVIOUS experience on a band instrument. This session will introduce your child to the CDS Music Program, including the instrument rental process and the band instruments. We will assist your child in choosing an instrument to which s/he is best suited. The instruments that we study at school include: flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone and tuba.

    If your child does not own an instrument, please login to MYCDS, click on Back-to-School found through Resources to review the rental contract information and purchase options outlined there.

    SCREENAGERS Presentation: Growing Up in the Digital Age
