CANCELLED - In-Person Parent Book Review

'Remarkably Bright Creatures' by: Shelby Van Pelt

Please join us for wine, cheese and conversation on Tuesday, February 22nd at 7 pm, accompanied by a lively book discussion led by Senior School Librarian, Melissa Rutledge.

This debut novel is a gentle reminder that sometimes taking a hard look at the past can help uncover a future that once felt impossible. The following is Goodreads' description of Remarkably Bright Creatures:

"A charming, witty and compulsively readable exploration of friendship, reckoning, and hope, tracing a widow's unlikely connection."

We ask that you kindly let us know in advance if you are able to join us so that we can plan for numbers. Happy reading!

Land Acknowledgment

CDS wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. For thousands of years, these have been the traditional lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. We also recognize the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and the Haudenosaunee peoples who also shared this land.  CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for these lands and waters for future generations.
