Dr. Suppal and her husband, Mr. Rick Walia, were CDS parents for seven years. Their eldest son graduated in 2019 and youngest son graduated in 2022.
Dr. Suppal has been practicing Family Medicine for the past 29 years, soon to be 30 years in June 2024, after earning her Medical degree from McMaster University and completing her Residency at the University of Toronto. She is on active staff in the Department of Family Medicine at the William Osler Health Centre, Brampton Civic and Peel Memorial sites, and is a Fellow of the College of Family Physicians of Canada. 

Dr. Suppal has been heavily involved with a variety of organizations and charities, including the Board of Directors of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Aim for SEVA, and the Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce.

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
