Dr. Varun Kapila and his wife, Dr. Natasha Sukhai, joined The Country Day School community in 2022 and currently have three children in the Junior and Middle Schools.
 
Dr. Kapila is a Vascular Surgeon, practicing in one of Canada’s largest hospital corporations. He holds a variety of provincial and national leadership roles including Provincial Lead for Vascular Services at Ontario Health/CorHealth Ontario and is an Associate Medical Director at Criticall Ontario. He is also Site Chief of Surgery at the Brampton Civic Hospital. He is the President-Elect for the Canadian Society for Vascular Surgery.

Dr. Kapila received his Medical Doctorate, Faculty of Medicine, from the University of Ottawa, and his General Surgical Residency and Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Fellowship from the University of Toronto.
