LIFE IS 24/7 FOR THE CONSUMMATE DEVELOPER

Excerpt from Fall 2016 issue of The Link:

[Jason Kanaris] started working in the engineering department at Van der Graaf while still in high school at CDS. Jason went on to study Electronics  Engineering at Humber College and Manufacturing Engineering at The University of Ontario. Today, a decade later, he is an Electronics Engineering Technologist working in research & development at Van der Graaf.

Because of his personal connection to the company, Jason wears multiple hats and is involved in everything from developing marketing strategy, web development, photography, and video production, to engineering and manufacturing through the design and building of custom equipment – it’s all part of his life.

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
