Our Auction has always been our largest social event of the year for our community, and our goal is for every family to make a contribution of some kind. Many of you have already committed your support – thank you! To date, we are pleased to announce our first 2017 Auction Sponsors which include four Platinum, four Gold and 12 Silver sponsors!
For those looking for contribution options, consider a sponsorship opportunity, promoting your business by advertising in the catalogue, or making a family donation. You can make a cash donation or contribute an item to the Live or Silent Auction. Donations of all sizes are hugely appreciated, including practical items, the latest technology gadgets, and unique experiences that only you can offer. You can also check our Wish List and see if anything catches your attention.
South Beach Sizzle will be an electrifying night of sumptuous food, pulsing music and fun with friends. It will also feature the thrill of live and silent auctions with proceeds directed toward enhancing our spectator experience at our outdoor athletic facilities. We will bring seats and scoreboards to CDS!
As an incentive to make your donation before March Break, all donation forms received prior to March 10th will be entered in a draw for a FREE PAIR OF TICKETS to attend the South Beach Sizzle Auction on June 2nd!
Land Acknowledgment
The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
