Join Us for the Gianni Giro Bike Ride - September 24

On Sunday, September 24th from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm The Country Day School will host the 3rd annual Gianni Giro Bike for Heart charity bike ride and family fun fair, and we are encouraging our parents and students to participate! The event is for all ages and skill levels and includes multiple ride distances and activities for riders and non-riders alike.
Get prepared for a fun family day with 5km, 45km and 90km of bike riding, or get moving with a trail walk open to all ages. In addition to all of the great outdoor experiences taking place, there will be a fun fair with activities and attractions for kids, a live band and a celebration BBQ.
 
Proceeds from this event will benefit Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation.

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories.
