A big thank you to all of our families and friends who stopped by our tent to say hello and have a chat at Christmas in King City! View photos from the event in the gallery, and watch a portion of our student band, The B-Sides' performance in the video below.
The Admissions and Community Relations teams will also be there, just look for the CDS tent! And to start the event off on theright foot, our own CDS Student Band, The B-Sides (featuring Marissa Faiella '18, Nick Adams '18, Edward Adams '18 and Jack Daniel '19) are going to perform four holiday songs on the stage starting at around 3:15 p.m. We hope to see you there!

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
