CDS Summer School Program 2018

The CDS Summer Program 2018 is offering the following courses:
  • Grade 10 Academic Math
  • Grade 12 Advanced Functions
  • Grade 12 English
  • Grade 12 Challenge and Change in Society
Registration forms for our summer offering of credit courses have been distributed to interested students and can also be found at www.cds.on.ca/summer. All registration forms and fees are to be returned to the Student Services Centre.

The final deadline for registering is March 2, 2018 or the date by which the maximum enrollment of the course has been reached. With this first-registered-first enrolled model in mind, along with the fact that all course offerings remain dependent on sufficient numbers of students enrolling, there is an advantage to registering as soon as possible.

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
