Auction 2018 Will Be Roaring Your Way Soon

As the spring thaw begins, we’ve started humming a familiar tune in preparation for our 45th annual Auction. You may know it … In the jungle, the mighty jungle the lion sleeps tonight.

That lion will give a mighty roar in three short months for the Call of the Wild – CDS Auction 2018! Mark your calendars and save the date: Friday, June 1st!

Your Auction package will soon be in your mailbox and contains all the ways you can contribute to this event. The Auction has always been our largest social event of the year for our community, and our goal is for every family to make a contribution of some kind. Many of you have already committed your support – thank you!

For those looking for contribution options, please consider the following:
  • Sponsorship opportunities
  • Promote your business by advertising in the Auction catalogue
  • Make a family donation of either cash or an item to the Live or Silent Auction. Items both large and small are hugely appreciated. Everything from practical every-day items, to the latest technology gadgets, to those unique experiences that only you can access through your contacts and connections. We have included a Wish List of items to give you a better understanding. A donation from every family is what makes our Auction so special and successful.
Invitations will go in the mail in late March – but you can guarantee your tickets through Sponsorship. Join us for an amazing evening of live and silent auctions, dancing, food, entertainment and more at Call of the Wild Auction on June 1st!

Land Acknowledgment

CDS wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. For thousands of years, these have been the traditional lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. We also recognize the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and the Haudenosaunee peoples who also shared this land.  CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for these lands and waters for future generations.
