Celebrate Our Grade 12 Artists at GradX!

GradX is the Grade 12 Art Exhibition which takes place each May in celebration of the culminating year of students in the art program. The show is a collaboration of art works created by the Grade 12 art class and provides them with an opportunity to display their works to the public.

Online GradX Gallery
Sadly, this year we are not able to gather in person as we usually do to admire their final pieces together in Rogers Hall. However, we would still like to showcase our students’ work for all to see in our online GradX gallery. They have worked independently on their portfolio year projects, incorporating their own inspirations, ideas and portfolio requirements for university. In working on their pieces, the students explore a variety of materials and methods to successfully communicate their thoughts to a wider audience.

We hope that their work offers joy, thought and inspiration.

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
