Looking for something a little different to do? Something to enjoy while these frigid temperatures are here? Want to connect with other members of the CDS Parent Community?

We invite you to join members of the CDS Parent Association as they host a virtual book review evening featuring A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles on Tuesday, March 30th at 7:00 pm.
Enjoy great conversation and a beverage with other parents and discuss this riveting novel. The evening will be moderated by CDS Senior School Librarian, Melissa Rutledge who will guide us through the review.

We wanted you to have time to enjoy and complete the novel (including Family Day Weekend and March Break), but we ask you to please sign up prior to March 4th  so we may plan ahead.

We look forward to ‘seeing’ you on March 30th!

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
