Pre-Owned Uniform Drop Off & Sale
It's been nearly two years since we held our last Pre-Owned Uniform Sale! It's time to gather any CDS uniform items that are "gently" used and bring them to CDS on Tuesday, September 21st between 8:30-9:30 AM and 3:00-4:30 PM only.
Drop off will be in front of the Senior School under the Terrace. We ask that you please not drop off items outside of this time or at any other location.
All donated items must be laundered and folded or hung before donating.
We ask you to please recycle any uniform items that are more than gently used, ripped, torn or stained in an appropriate textile recycling bin in your area.
The Pre-Owned Uniform Sale will take place on Tuesday, September 28th from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM - rain or shine! The sale will take place outdoors, under the covered terrace, in the front of the Senior School with all COVID protocols in place. Land Acknowledgment
The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
