Join us for our End of Year Parent Gathering!

Earlier this week, we emailed an invitation to all of you to join us for one of two (or both) year end celebrations welcoming our parents back to campus. Weather permitting, we hope these events will be a relaxed outdoor party and allow parents to visit with one another, enjoy a drink and some hors d’oeuvres, and celebrate the arrival of warm weather on their children’s campus!

Junior School Parents
Monday, May 30th
7 PM to 9 PM
RSVP Today

Middle and Senior School Parents
Monday, June 6th
7 PM to 9 PM
Faculty and staff are also invited to attend as this is meant to be a joyous occasion in celebration of our ability to gather once again. We’ve missed the opportunity to visit and get to know one another at in-person events over the past two years (including our Annual Auction). While the pandemic is not fully behind us, it is time to celebrate how far we’ve come, reacquaint ourselves with one another, and look ahead to next year.

IF you have children in both the Junior and Middle/Senior Schools - please feel free to join us on both evenings. We hope you will mark these dates in your calendars and reach out to your friends in your children’s grades to encourage them to join, as we look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible on May 30th and June 6th!

Warm regards,
John Liggett

Please note, this is an adult event only. We ask that you leave your children at home with a sitter if needed.
Thank you.

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
