Parent Association AGM & Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast

What a fantastic turnout for the Parent Association AGM and Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast this week! And it was wonderful to see so many men in attendance. Shoutout to Eric Selvaggi '10, a member of our Alumni Executive for wearing his CDS socks!
As Head of School John Liggett, Board Chair Karen Adams and others expressed throughout the morning, The Country Day School could not do all that we do, without our Parent volunteers.

Thank you to outgoing PA President Emily Bernhard-Delaney for her enthusiasm and leadership this past year, and to Past President Maricke Emanoilidis for her ongoing support. Also heartfelt thanks to our honorary members: Judy Eliot (Totten), Randee Sorbo and Annette Ghezzi for your incredible dedication and commitment over the years. While your children are graduating, know that you are welcome back anytime!

We appreciate all that this past Association Executive and group of Parent volunteers have done for CDS this past year, and look forward to working with next year's PA Executive and volunteers, including incoming President Sarah Hepburn.

Land Acknowledgment

CDS wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. For thousands of years, these have been the traditional lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. We also recognize the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and the Haudenosaunee peoples who also shared this land.  CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for these lands and waters for future generations.
