Auction Fun Facts: Did You Know?

Each year, CDS parents, families and friends, donate more than 200 items to the Auction to help make it a success. Over the last 43 years this would be more than 8,600 donations! And each year more than 500 people attend this amazing event, which means we've hosted more than 21,500 guests!

What does all this mean to CDS?
The Annual Auctions held over the past 43 years have helped make our school what it is today. The four Auctions held over the course of the Making Connections campaign have raised $943,000, helping make our dream of having a Dining Hall and rejuvenated Senior School a reality.

What does this mean to you? That you make a difference! Every donation you make and each ticket you purchase helps bring us closer to our campaign goal!

Donate today and join us on Friday, June 3rd for an unforgettable Carnival evening!

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
