CDS Parent Cooking Class: February 8th

The CDS Parent Association invites you to join them for a hands-on cooking class Thursday, February 8th, beginning at 6:30 pm.
The evening will begin with a demonstration by our very own Chef Richard Perks of Aramark. Chef Richard will share how to make gnocchi from scratch and tips and tricks of the trade in order to prepare your own successful dish at home.

Following the demonstration, everyone will have the opportunity to try their hand at making their own gnocchi dinner. Once this is mastered, Chef Richard will demonstrate how to create and assemble Tiramisu!

The evening will culminate in a sit down gathering with a glass of wine to accompany their gnocchi followed by Tiramisu for dessert.

Open to adults only. The cost is $25 per registrant and space is limited. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at events@cds.on.ca. Please fill out this registration form to secure your spot.

We hope you can join us!

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
