Birthday Book Program

This Birthday Book program is administered by the CDS Parent Association in support of our CDS' libraries to ensure we have the most current available books and resource material, and provides an opportunity for your child to see their name inside a book that was donated in their honour. Your child will also receive a card in the mail for their birthday!
Donations may be made here or by printing and submitting the attached form. Feel free to honour all of your children at this time. We will hold their cards and book notifications until their birthday. Donations are processed on a monthly basis, therefore we ask you to please allow adequate time for processing and mailing of your child's birthday card.

What a great way to honour your child(ren) on their birthday while supporting The Country Day School libraries!

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
