CDS Cyclones Performing Well in the Playoffs

Our Cyclones have enjoyed an incredible winter sports season. Congratulations to all of our athletes!
The following is a snapshot of which teams are advancing in the playoffs this week and next:

🏒 Senior Boys Hockey is in 2nd place, having defeated RSGC yesterday, 4-3, to advance to the finals next week. They were down 3-0 going into the third period and made a heroic comeback with 4 straight goals in the third!

🏀 Senior Boys Basketball is in 4th place out of 7 teams and beat TFS yesterday, 55-53, to advance to the final four being hosted by SAC next Wednesday.

🏀 Junior Boys Basketball is currently in 1st place in the West league and will play De La Salle in the quarter finals tomorrow at 2:00pm in the Senior School gym.

🏀 U14 Boys Basketball is in 2nd place in the West League and host KCS in the quarter finals today at 3:00pm in the Senior School gym.

🏀 U13 Boys Basketball is in 3rd place and made it to the final four next Tuesday where they will take on UCC at Sterling Hall.

🏐 Senior Girls Volleyball is in 2nd place and will host Hillfield Strathallan for the semi-finals tomorrow at 2pm in the Middle School gym.

🏐 U16 Girls D2 Volleyball are in 3rd place in the West league and play Crestwood tomorrow in round 2 of the playoffs.

🏂 Snowboarding Update: Last week was the CISAA Championships in GS and Slopestyle, and Sarin Gosal ‘24 won the individual gold medal for the U20 girls division. She also qualified for OFSAA GS which is taking place next Wednesday at Devil's Glen.

Yesterday was our CISAA snowboard cross event, and Sarin Gosal also won the individual gold as the fastest female rider on the boardercross course, as well as being a member of the fastest girls team (made up of a mix of athletes from our association), which qualified her to represent CISAA and our school at the boardercross invitational next Thursday at Beaver Valley.
