50th Doors Open
Alumni 50th Luau Celebration
🌺 It was wonderful to see more than 400 alumni, past and current faculty & staff, and parents in attendance at our 50th Alumni Reunion event this past June! The clouds parted and a double rainbow formed just before the start, kicking off an incredible evening.
Thank you to all who joined in the fun - we loved having you back on campus!
Dinner & Auction 2023
In June 2023, our community came together to Celebrate 50 Years of CDS at the 47th Annual Dinner and Auction! Fifty years is a huge milestone for the school and what better way to finish off the celebration year than a party!

Alumni Music Event
In honour of our 50th anniversary, we thought that it would be fitting to invite our Alumni back to join our Middle and Senior Music students on stage for the spring concert. The call went out, not simply to watch but to participate, and as responses came in from near and far, we were thrilled when more than 50 alumni answered the call to participate in the concert!
To the Alumni who lent their talents to the Music Alumni Ensembles, we offer our sincerest congratulations and thanks. On behalf of everyone, it was an incredible honour to collaborate with each and every one of you once again. For those who missed it, you may watch the recording here.

Mr. Burleigh Visits BC
Over Family Day weekend, longtime CDS teacher and Alumni Faculty Liaison Mark Burleigh headed to British Columbia for some skiing and hosted two 50th micro-events in Vancouver and Whistler.
On February 16th, he hosted a CDS gathering with Jen Chui (Hustadt) '95, Rachel Thexton '00, Carly Campoli '20, and Sarah Sutherland-Pace '21 in Vancouver. Then on February 20th, Mr. Burleigh met up with members of the Hunt family (Logan '17, Bridger '18 and Nevis '21), Alexia Constantinou '14, and our beloved former Junior School Librarian, Mrs. Pat Garrow. Fun times were had by all!

Founders Dinner
In October, we welcomed our Founding families back for a tour and dinner to pay tribute to them for helping to imagine a private school in King for their children 50 years ago, and successfully turning that dream into reality.

50th Anniversary Golf Tournament
Please join us for the 50th Anniversary Golf Tournament on Thursday, August 18th at 1:30 PM at Cardinal Golf & Country Club.
All skill levels are welcome as individuals or foursomes! The format of the play will be best ball. The format of the tournament will be best ball. Alumni, current and past parents, as well as current and past faculty are encouraged to participate.
