Plan Your Visit

We Would Love to Show You Around!

When choosing a school for your child(ren), it is essential to explore your options until you discover the right fit. This should involve a school visit so that your family can meet students and faculty, and explore the surroundings of our beautiful 100-acre campus.
We invite you to visit CDS by attending one of our Open Houses or booking a personal tour in the near future.

Join Us for an Open House

We host a series of Open House events in the fall, winter and spring to give prospective families the opportunity to tour our school and facilities with one of our Student Ambassadors, meet CDS Faculty & Staff, and learn about our academic and extra-curricular offerings. Some Open Houses are held during the day, so families can witness the School in action, while others are held in the evening or on the weekend, which fits better into some families' schedules.

Our 2018-19 Open House dates are:

Sat., October 13, 2018 10 am - 1 pm
Thurs., October 25 7 pm - 9 pm
Thurs., November 15 9 am - 11 am
Sat., January 12, 2019  10 am - 1 pm
Thurs., January 31 7 pm - 9 pm
If still interested in applying for September 2018, please contact the Admissions Office directly at 905.833.1972.

Schedule a Personal Tour

Families are always welcome to arrange a personal tour of the School. Please contact the Office of Admissions to schedule a convenient time for your family.

Just ask us!

Feel free to contact the Director of Admission, David Huckvale, or Admissions & University Placement Administrative Assistant, Liz Duckett with any questions about the application process. They may be reached directly at 905.833.1972 and are happy to help.

We look forward to meeting you and showing you around!

Attend Classes with a CDS Student

Once a student and their family have experienced an Open House or personal tour and applied, they may still be curious about what it is like to attend CDS. These students can arrange to shadow a CDS student for a morning and attend classes. While this is not a formal part of the assessment process, it provides your child with an inside glimpse into the classroom. Please contact the Office of Admissions to make arrangements.
