The Country Day School offers students from CDS and area schools a wide variety of summer activities and educational opportunities.
Students looking to advance and enrich their education may select from courses located on the CDS campus or much further afield. Another alternative is to stay local and take part in our summer camp!

2026 Summer Courses
CDS is pleased to offer the following credit courses this summer:
A full refund will be issued if notification of cancellation is provided on or before May 1st. A cancellation fee of $300 will be charged after May 2, 2026. Fees are non-refundable after the start of summer school. Please note, course offerings are dependent on enrolment numbers. In the event of a course cancellation, a full refund will be granted.

- 9 Mathematics (MTH1W) (only open to current gr. 8 CDS students, requires minimum A achieved in 8 Math)
- 10 Academic Principles of Mathematics (MPM2D) (requires minimum 80% achieved in MTH1W)
- 12 University Advanced Functions (MHF4U) (priority for gr. 11 students, requires minimum 80% achieved in MCR3U)
- 12 University English (ENG4U) (prerequisite: ENG3U)
- 12 University Studies in Literature (ETS4U) (prerequisite: ENG3U)
CDS Summer School Registration opens Monday, January 26, 2026 (for CDS students). Registration will be on-line and can be paid for by credit card. The course fee is *$1700 and includes lunch. It does not include textbooks. All classes are in-person and start on Monday, June 22 to Thursday, July 16 (no class, Wednesday, July 1). Students need to be in attendance ALL days of the course to accommodate the number of Ministry required hours. The exam will take place on the last day of class.
Students must have the required prerequisite for the course selected. Current Grade 8 and 9 students should not be taking any credit courses outside of Math. Bussing for Summer School is not available.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
