Applying to CDS - Key Entry Years

When considering applying to CDS, please know that we accept a larger number of students for JK, Grade 4, 7 and 9 every year with JK representing two full classes and Grades 4, 7 and 9 enrolling one additional class. That being said, we encourage prospective families with students in all grades to contact us as we regularly have availability across other grades due to annual attrition.

Reach out to  a member of our CDS Admissions Team today by calling (905) 833-1972 or emailing us at admissions@cds.on.ca to learn more. Thank you for considering The Country Day School for your educational journey!

Join Us for an Open House

Interested in exploring The Country Day School for your child(ren) for 2025-2026? We invite you and your family to join us for one of our three upcoming Open Houses in October.

This is an opportunity for your family to tour our 100-acre campus, meet our students and members of our faculty and staff, and sample some of our Dining Hall's lunch favourites. This is a wonderful way to gain valuable insights for families interested in applying to CDS for the following year.

Experience firsthand what an education with balance could mean for your child(ren) as members of the CDS community!

We host a series of Open House events in the fall, winter and spring to give prospective families the opportunity to tour our school and facilities with one of our Student Ambassadors, meet CDS Faculty & Staff, and learn about our academic and extra-curricular offerings.

Some Open Houses are held during the day, so families can witness CDS in action, while others are held in the evening or on the weekend, which fits better into some family’s schedules.

If your family is still looking to apply for the 2024-2025 academic year, please contact us at 905-833-1972 or admission@cds.on.ca to discuss your individual circumstances. We look forward to hearing from you!

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
