Admissions Update

*As of September 7, 2023

Our 2024-2025 online application launched as of September 1st, and we are now accepting applications for all grades. While not first-come-first-served we recommend completing and submitting all application material at your earliest opportunity with special attention to the key December 1st Priority Application Deadline.

Before or after applying we recommend that you register for a sneak peek of our new Junior School or Middle/Senior Schools and/or consider attending one of our three upcoming Open Houses in October.

This year, we are offering up to four merit-based Eberts Entrance Scholarships ranging from $10,000 to $15,000 for students entering Grades 7-10 and renewable through graduation. While all Eberts Entrance Scholarships are based on merit, at least one will be awarded each year on the basis of demonstrated financial need as well.

Thank you, and we look forward to speaking with you soon!

Join Us for an Open House

Each academic year, we host several open houses to give families the chance to tour our school. Your family will enjoy a one-hour guided tour led by one of our Student Ambassadors. Along the way, you will meet with our teachers, current parents, and Admission team members. We will finish your visit in our Marchè-style Dining Hall and sample some of the lunchtime favourites!

If you have any questions, please contact admissions@cds.on.ca. We cannot wait to meet you!

RSVP for a Middle & Senior School Sneak Peek

Come see our Middle and Senior Schools in action! As we’ve done in the past, we are offering weekly event-style group tours on Monday mornings, Wednesday mornings and Thursday early evenings.

In advance of each tour, there will be a short presentation and opportunity to mix and mingle, followed by a small group tour of our Middle and Senior Schools. During the morning sessions, prospective families will have an opportunity to witness the school in action and how a typical day at CDS unfolds. Early evening tours will be more quiet, but allow us to show you classrooms and answer questions in a smaller setting.

Land Acknowledgment

CDS wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. For thousands of years, these have been the traditional lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. We also recognize the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and the Haudenosaunee peoples who also shared this land.  CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for these lands and waters for future generations.
