Mr. Quinn A. Richardson

Mr. Quinn Richardson is a new member of the Board having joined in October 2025. Mr. Quinn Richardson and his wife, Mrs. Robyn Richardson, have been CDS parents since 2023. Their three children are in the Junior School. 
Mr. Richardson is a CDS alumnus (non-graduate). His late father, Mr. Royden Richardson, previously served on the Board from 1997 to 2003. The Richardson family continues to have a rich history with CDS.

Mr. Richardson is the President of Blue River Capital, a private family office, and serves as a Board Director at Richardson International Ltd., Tundra Oil and Gas, and North Arc Precision. Previously, Mr. Richardson was the COO of North Arc Precision and a Senior Consultant at Isaac Operations.

Mr. Richardson graduated from Queen’s University with a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.), is a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), and is a member of the Rotman Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D).

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
