Mr David Di Salle

Middle School Learning Strategist
David Di Salle joined the Student Services Department as a Middle School Learning Strategist in September 2025, bringing over two decades of experience from the Toronto District School Board to CDS. A passionate educator, David previously served as the Assistant Curriculum Leader of Student Success at William Lyon Mackenzie Collegiate Institute and is honoured to now support students and families within the CDS community. Beyond the classroom, he is deeply committed to athletics and currently coaches U14 Hockey and Soccer. David holds an MA from OISE (University of Toronto), an Honours BA and BEd from York University, and an Honours Specialist in History from Queen’s University.

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
