Carry the Momentum Forward: Support the Dream Together Campaign
What an incredible milestone! As we shared last week, our 50th Annual CDS Dinner & Auction was a resounding success raising in excess of $347,000 net. During the evening, we took a moment to look back with a special Year in Review video celebrating everything we have achieved together this past year.
The energy and generosity in the room was a beautiful reminder of what makes our community so special and we are thrilled to remind our community that 100% of the funds raised from the auction are going directly toward the Dream Together Campaign, which continues to move closer to our campaign goal. A dream of this magnitude is only possible through collective generosity. We want to take this opportunity to extend a heartfelt thank you to the families who have already stepped forward, together we have raised $22 million towards this project. Your early commitment formed the foundation of this campaign, and we are deeply grateful for your belief in this shared vision.
Now we need your help to maintain our incredible momentum for the campaign. While the donations to date and the proceeds of the auction were a leap forward, our journey isn't over. We still need the support of our broader community to bring the full vision of the Dream Together Campaign to fruition. Remember the construction that has begun is only phase one of our two-phase project. In order to make our second phase a reality, we need your support.
Every family's contribution matters, and we would love to discuss how you can participate in shaping our shared dreams of the future. We are currently scheduling conversations and offer flexible timing to suit your busy schedule. We are happy to meet:
Right Now: Let's connect before the year winds down.
Over the Summer: A relaxed time to grab a coffee and chat about the vision.
In the Fall: Let us add you to our priority list for when the new school year begins.
If you are interested in exploring how your family can be a part of this transformative initiative, please reach out to us today to set up a meeting.
The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
Founded in 1972, The Country Day School is a co-educational private school offering programs in JK-12 and located on 100 acres north of Toronto in King.
