Donation Deadline One Week Away

Our Boots & Bids Dinner and Auction is quickly approaching, and our Auction Planning Team is so excited to bring you a night of amazing entertainment, fabulous food and a serious amount of fun! A few tickets do still remain for those who have not yet secured a seat!

The donation deadline of May 1st is only one week away! Some of you have already donated an item or purchased a sponsorship or advertising space, and for this we are extremely grateful.

To those families who have been waiting to donate, or the deadline has crept up on you - we are still accepting items for our silent and live auction. The value is not what is important but what is important is your commitment to donate. We are appreciative of all donations; be it concert or sports tickets, a bike, pizza oven, a special experience or a gift card to your favorite store or restaurant. Remember, cash is always an option too to purchase items from our wish list.

Please remember, you don’t need to be attending to donate, we need the support of the whole community. The donation deadline is May 1st in order to allow us time to prepare the catalogue and get ready to showcase everything that is to offer at the event. At this time we only need your commitment - the item can be dropped off in the next few weeks! It is easy to commit - just click here!

If you have any questions regarding Auction, how to donate or how to purchase tickets, please refer the CDS website or reach out to Tracey Scott in the Office of Community Relations.

Thank you from your Auction Planning Team!

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
