Record-Breaking Amount Raised at 50th Auction!

WOW! Thank You for an Incredible 50th Annual Dinner & Auction!

Last Friday evening, our community came together to celebrate our 50th Annual Dinner & Auction, and we are still completely blown away by the energy and generosity in the room. The entire night was a reminder of the strength and spirit of our community. What an amazing night!
An event of this magnitude doesn't happen without a village. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this milestone evening such a massive success:
  • To our Attendees: Thank you for showing up with such incredible energy! Your enthusiasm, bidding, and celebration made the night truly unforgettable.
  • To our Donors and Contributors: Your generous contributions built the foundation of this auction. Thank you for providing the amazing items and experiences that brought so much excitement to the floor.
  • To our Sponsors: Thank you for your unwavering support and belief in the event. We couldn't have made this night possible without your partnership.
A Very Special Thank You... To our brilliant Auction Planning Team! Countless hours and incredible attention to detail went into making Friday night a reality. Your dedication is the heartbeat of this event, and we are so incredibly grateful for your hard work.

To everyone who has poured their time and energy into making this event a reality over the last 50 years—thank you! There are not many schools or organizations that can boast the kind of enduring success we experience every single year. Together with this unwavering support, we were able to raise a whopping $347,000 (net) toward our next dream at CDS.

The Dream Together Campaign will see CDS raise the roof on a new Athletic Centre, right here on campus where our Cyclone Dome used to be. The centre will be magical and beneficial for all of our students, from JK to Grade 12, and we are so excited that the 50th Annual CDS Auction proceeds bring us one step closer to our dream.

We can't wait to see what we achieve together next year!

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
