Thanks to the foresight of our co-founders, Moffat Dunlap and Edmond G. Eberts, and a group of dedicated families from throughout the King community, The Country Day School opened its doors in September 1972. Today, their vision is a testament to the power of community. These original families acted on their desire to make a private day school in King a reality, and we will always remain grateful to them.

Their vision has been kept alive through the collective efforts of all who have supported CDS since that time. Over the past 46 years, the School has grown from a three-room school on four acres to an expansive 100-acre campus serving  Grades JK-12. None of this would have been possible without the philanthropic support of our community. It is a tribute to this lasting legacy that our current and past families, alumni, grandparents and friends continue to support The Country Day School with such extraordinary generosity.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
