Join The Party at CDS!

After a three-year hiatus, we are thrilled to announce the return of The Country Day School’s annual Auction on Friday, June 2, 2023! This is an evening you won’t want to miss as we come together as a community to celebrate our school’s 50th anniversary in the Cyclone Dome.

The CDS Dinner & Auction is our most anticipated adult social event, as well as the largest fundraiser of the year. The evening features live music and entertainment, cocktails and dinner, a live and silent auction, and much more. CDS families and friends have been coming together to celebrate and make this event a huge success since 1973.

Remembering Walter Davison

It is hard to believe that June 15th will be the third anniversary of the passing of our dear friend, teacher and colleague, Walter Davison.

We will gather to remember Walter’s life on Wednesday, June 21 at 4:00 pm, the first day of summer. On this day, we will dedicate a maple tree and bench in his honour outside the Middle School Director’s Office and beside the Middle School gathering rocks.

Please join us to share stories in memory of a teacher, mentor, and friend who positively impacted so many during his extraordinary teaching and coaching career. Refreshments will follow in the Petrachek Courtyard following the dedication.

We ask that you RSVP by June 16th so that we may prepare for those in attendance.

The event will be held on the CDS Campus, outdoors if weather permits. It will be an event for the ages and include our Original alumni who attended before we opened a Senior School, as well as our grads from 1991-2023! Current and past Faculty & Staff will be out in force.🌺

Upcoming Events

The Country Day School's Office of Community Relations is responsible for managing the majority of the annual school events. These events usually involve the whole CDS community, including our current parents, past parents and alumni.

While the events are managed through our office, their success is due to the overwhelming support of our parent volunteers. Whether you are able to give a few hours or make a larger commitment, all volunteers are highly valued and greatly appreciated.

For more information about our annual events or to volunteer, please contact us via email at events@cds.on.ca or at 905-833-3640.

We look forward to hearing from you!
