  • CDS Donates Harvest from its Gardens to King Foodbank

    This summer, The Nobleton & King City Horticultural Society (NKCHS) partnered with The Country Day School to cultivate its vegetable gardens while students were away. As part of the Grade 9 Green Industry Outdoor Education course launched a year ago, Grade 9 students designed and built raised plant beds last fall, planted seeds this past winter, then in May, replanted the seedlings in the raised garden planter beds.

Founded in 1972, The Country Day School is a co-educational private school offering programs in JK-12 and located on 100 acres north of Toronto in King.
