For Junior School:
1:20pm Classes to PAC after recess, hear guest speaker
1:45pm Proceed to back field. Students sit in their houses in front of flags on the hill.
2:00pm Run begins for 30 consecutive minutes, parents are welcome to join!
2:30pm When run is finished, a quick and fun house activity that we will play as a school.
3:00pm Following the game, classes will head back into the School.

Grab-and-go lunch:
SS - 11:45 am
MS - 12:00 pm
12:30pm  Assembly in the PAC for MS & SS
1:00 pm  "Trail Run/Walk" on CDS Greenspace
1:45 pm  House Games (location TBA)
2:15 pm  House Relays, frozen treats, tug-of-war on Hawksworth Field

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
