Make a Donation to Auction for a Chance to Win Free Tickets

When it’s cold outside, one surefire way to keep warm is to think about South Beach Sizzle – the 44th annual CDS Auction! Mark your calendars and save the date: Friday, June 2nd!

This week, your Auction package was mailed to you and contains all the ways you can contribute to this event. The Auction has always been our largest social event of the year for our community, and our goal is for every family to make a contribution of some kind. Many of you have already committed your support – thank you!

For those looking for contribution options, please consider the following:
* Sponsorship opportunities
* Promote your business by advertising in the Auction catalogue
* Make a family donation of either cash or an item to the Live or Silent Auction. Items both large and small are hugely appreciated. Everything from practical every-day items, to the latest technology gadgets, to those unique experiences that only you can access through your contacts and connections. We have included a Wish List of items to give you a better understanding. A donation from every family is what makes our Auction so special and successful.

As an incentive to make your donation before March Break, all donation forms received prior to March 8th will be entered in a draw for a FREE PAIR OF TICKETS to attend the South Beach Sizzle Auction!

Join us for an amazing evening of live and silent auctions, dancing, food, entertainment and more at South Beach Sizzle on June 2nd.

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
