Join us in Making an Impact - Donate to Auction Today!

What is the Dinner & Auction? The CDS Dinner & Auction is the school's largest parent social event of the year, as well as the school's largest fundraising event. Currently in its 47th year, the Auction has raised in excess of $6 million dollars. These funds go toward capital improvement projects, such as the traffic light on Dufferin Street, athletic scoreboards and  seating beside the Track (Hawksworth Field). This year the money will go toward the Junior School Building Magic Campaign.
While we are sold out of tickets at this time, we strongly encourage you to add your name to the Waitlist as we have been able to provide tickets to some on the Waitlist as they become available.

Why support? By your family supporting the Auction with a donation of a live or silent auction item, a cash donation, or advertising in the catalogue, you are doing your part to help raise these funds. You may not think that your donation of tickets, a gift card or a basket makes a difference, but it does, and if everyone did their part to contribute what they could, together we would far exceed our goals.

If you are unsure of what to donate, a cash donation is greatly appreciated. These monies will then be used to purchase items from the Wish List we have created; a list of items that we know, based on prior experience, will appeal to our community and be a great hit! Lastly, you may also consider advertising in the catalogue. This opportunity is unique, as CDS does not have any other means for businesses to promote and advertise to our community.

Simply CLICK HERE to reach our Donations page where you can make your choice of whether you will advertise, make a cash donation, or donate an item.

Thank you in advance for your support!

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
