Auction Volunteers Needed!

With our annual Dinner & Auction just five weeks away, we are in need of volunteers to assist with some pre-Auction tasks, as well as Auction set up.
If you have the time to give, we would greatly appreciate your support on one or both of these dates:

Tuesday, May 23rd - 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Performing Arts Centre Atrium
  • We need assistance with assembling guest packages, preparing bid sheets, and organizing supplies. We are also in need of assistance to assemble a few donated items. Coffee will be provided!
Thursday, June 1st - 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in the CDS Cyclone Dome
  • Assist with bringing the school's largest event of the year to life. We need many hands for assembling displays, organizing seating, assembling items. The best part, you get to see the behind the scenes transformation of our Dome!
All hands are welcome - no experience is necessary! If you can come for only part of the day that is fine too!

As always - food and beverages are supplied both days - and you are welcome to bring a friend! As the saying goes, many hands make light work :)

Please click here to confirm you will be coming on the specific date so that we can plan accordingly!

If you have any questions, please reach out to one of us at auction@cds.on.ca.

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
