As you explore the plethora of choices available, we invite you to see the benefits of an education with balance at CDS.
It’s a well-rounded approach designed specifically to help students develop a lifelong love of learning, prepare them for post-secondary education, and build within them strong character, morals, and values.
We invite you to better understand how we achieve this by exploring our website, planning a visit, and talking with our Admissions Team.
We look forward to meeting you!

Our Middle School features its own space, customized for this age group. It offers a coordinated curriculum that ignites curiosity and develops core competencies.
Students encounter important and exciting life choices in Senior School. Our balanced academic, experiential, and extracurricular program helps equip each student to choose what’s best for them.
There’s no wrong answer, and everyone takes their own personal route to reach theirs.
We offer a balanced education to support them in this journey. Every student at CDS receives a curriculum built on an intentional blend of academic, experiential, and extracurricular programs. They participate actively in all aspects of their development to discover their passions and establish a strong sense of self.
This approach—which affords much more personal attention than the traditional “one size fits all” model—helps guide our relationships with each student so we can build an educational path for them that ensures their success.
We take pride in knowing, inspiring, and supporting our students so we can help them become the best versions of themselves. Learn About The Application Process

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
Founded in 1972, The Country Day School is a co-educational private school offering programs in JK-12 and located on 100 acres north of Toronto in King.
