CDS Robotics Team 4951 Prepares for Season Kickoff at Barrie Tournament

The CDS Senior School Robotics Team, Team 4951 – CDS Cyclones, is excited to begin their 2026 season at their first competition this weekend in Barrie at Georgian College!
 
This year’s FIRST Robotics Competition game, REBUILT, challenges teams to design robots that can shoot foam balls into high goals and climb a tower in a fast-paced match. The team is looking forward to competing against others and putting their skills to the test.
Qualification Match Schedule:
Saturday, March 28: 11:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Sunday, March 29: 9:30 AM – 12:15 PM
 
Alliance selections will take place from 12:15 PM – 1:00 PM to determine which teams advance to the playoffs.
 
Playoff Match Schedule:
Sunday, March 29: 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM
 
Throughout the tournament weekend, live results will be available on the event webcast, CDS Cyclones – The Blue Alliance. Matches are randomly assigned, but typically occur about once every hour.
 
Please feel free to watch and support Team 4951 as they compete in their first tournament of the season!
