Beach Party Auction a SWIMMING Success

We raised a quarter million dollars! Last Friday, May 30th the CDS Sports Dome was transformed into the best beach party in King! Thank you to everyone for your support over the past several months, whether as a sponsor, donor or attendee.
We are pleased to announce that the Beach Party Auction raised $252,000 toward the Making Connections campaign! A special shout out to the Auction Executive made up of Amanda Langston, Sylvia Mantella, Maureen Ofield, Kelly Rosen, Randee Sorbo and Judy Totten, and led by CDS Parent and Chair, Sepi Naziri, who worked tirelessly throughout the school year to make the event the success that it was.

Be sure to check our Media Gallery for more amazing photos of the night. Thank you to all!

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
