Summer Camp

The Country Day School in King is excited to announce that CDS Summer Camp is back for Summer 2024 and will once again offer an amazing day camp experience! Programs will include specific sport instruction (basketball, tennis, baseball, soccer, volleyball and multi-sport) along with LIT, math & science (MindBusters), robotics, Day Trippers, art, drama, and outdoor adventure programs. Every registered camper will receive a CDS Summer Camp T-Shirt!

While the focus is always on fun, what makes our camp unique is the exceptional level of skill training offered by our coaches who bring both a wealth of experience and a high degree of expertise to their chosen programs. Alongside each coach will be qualified counselors who have been carefully selected based on their knowledge of and experience in their respective program, as well as their enthusiasm for working with kids.

Not only do campers receive three to four hours of skill training each day, they have an opportunity to explore CDS’s beautiful 100-acre campus. With a temperature-controlled sports dome, three full-sized gyms, four tennis courts and ten playing fields, even a rainy day is an active day at CDS Summer Camp! Daily lunch and snacks are provided.

Please reach out with any questions to summercamp@cds.on.ca and we'll get right back to you. Thank you!

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
