During Tuesday’s Orientation Day and on the first day of School, the Director of the Middle School, Rob Waldron, and Guidance Teacher, Counsellor and Learning Strategist, Courtney Kroen asked the Grade 7 and 8 students one simple question: “What is Your Hope?”.

Then they stood back and watched. Afterwards, Middle School teachers were asked the same question. This video documents the results.
Some of the common themes for the year were:
That I learn and have fun
To have a great year!
To make new friends
To be happy!
To help create a community that feels like home

As students, parents, teachers and staff walk through Rogers Hall into the Middle School this September, they can read for themselves how much the students’ and teachers’ hopes and dreams for this school year align.
