CDS Admissions: Calling All Siblings!

David Huckvale
Last year was a very busy one in the Admissions Office and the end result was the addition of some great new students to the CDS family. In fact, we opened the year with 790 students - a record! With those new additions now settling in, we have turned our attention to meeting and assessing next year’s applicants.
If you are considering completing an application for another child for September 2020, we strongly encourage you to come by, call, e-mail us, or launch an application as soon as possible so we can add you to our list for exclusive early sibling assessment opportunities at all grade levels. For a more detailed description of the full admission timeline, please visit our How To Apply Page.

Our first two drop-in style Open House events are fast approaching (we hope you will share these dates with interested family and friends!):
  • Saturday, September 21, 10 AM to 1 PM
  • Thursday, October 10, 9 AM to 11 AM & 7 PM to 9 PM
We look forward to hearing from you!

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
