Calling All Siblings

As the Admissions Team starts to wind down a busy 2025-2026 season, we have started to think ahead to the 2026-2027 application period.

At CDS, we value the significance of continuity in education for families with multiple children, and we recognize the importance of sibling relationships in fostering a supportive learning environment. Therefore, we ask that current CDS families thinking of applying next year kindly bring this to our attention sometime between now and September to keep the lines of communication open.
If you have any questions or require further assistance regarding the sibling application process, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Admissions team at 905-833-1972 or admissions@cds.on.ca

Please note that applications for September 2026 will open August 13th, 2025 and we will resume Admissions Events (small group tours and Open Houses) in September.

The application deadline for the entry Grades of 4, 7 and 9 is November 3, 2025.

The application deadline for JK and all non-entry Grades is December 1, 2025.

Of course, we would also encourage you to share this news with interested family and friends as word of mouth is our most powerful marketing tool!

Thank you for your support and have a wonderful summer.

David Huckvale and the Admissions Team
Director of Admission and Post-Secondary Counselling

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
