Vote for STORM!

CDS's mascot (Storm the Cyclone) has made it to the final round of a spirit-infused contest for Top Toronto Private School Mascot and we need your votes!
We are now up against two giants: Branksome Hall and Crescent School - who have 70 and 60 years of history on us and have taken a sizable, but not unstoppable lead in the first 24 hours.

That is where you come in - please cast your vote today!
The Grand Prize: Toronto's very own celebrity mascots — the Raptors' Raptor, the Leafs' Carlton and the Blue Jays' Ace — will pay an exclusive visit to the winning school on Monday, Sept. 25th, for photos with our school mascot and a pep rally.

Thank you for your support! Go Cyclones Go!

Land Acknowledgment

The Country Day School wishes to recognize and acknowledge the land on which the school operates. Our nearest Indigenous Nations are now the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgina Island. The Dish with One Spoon Wampum covenant is often cited as an example of the shared responsibility for caring for these lands among the Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples who would call these their traditional territories. CDS respects the relationship with these lands and recognizes that our connection to this land can be strengthened by our continued relationship with all First Nations, by acknowledging our shared responsibility to respect and care for the land and waters for future generations.
