Patrice Barbanchon

Middle & Senior School Music Teacher
How do you continue learning in your life? What is your professional passion?
As a music educator and musician, I continue learning by staying engaged with current trends in music through workshops, performances, conferences, and online resources. My professional passion lies in fostering creativity and inspiring others to discover a life-long love for music.

What is one of your favourite interactions with students?
One of my favorite student interactions was when a student found the courage to perform a piece they had been practicing in front of their peers. Witnessing their growth in confidence and seeing their peers' supportive reactions was incredibly rewarding. It highlighted the transformative power of music education in fostering self-expression and building self-esteem.
